Passantinos
attack Bill Alnor for wanting to talk.
Editor's note: This is the message
Bill Alnor received from the Passantinos on
July 2, 2001 refusing to be interviewed for
a series of articles he was working on.
Several things to note: Alnor would have
provided the Passantinos with questions if
they had requested them in advance. Second,
the Passantinos did not respond at all to
Alnor's first request. They ignored him.
As illustrated in the "Spotlight
on the Passantinos" ongoing series here
in cultlink.com, this post is true to form.
Notice the attack.
Bill Alnor responded to Baskette
calling him a liar, and demanding proof of
the Passantinos personal attack in paragraph
4. So far, no response.

Hello!
The
Passantino's asked me to reply to your most
recent request for a taped interview or
E-mail exchange.
The
Passantinos do not consider any media
interviews without knowing the subject
matter of the interview, and the purpose for
which it will be used, which you neglected
to include with your request.
In
addition, they will not consider an
interview with anyone who has a published
track record of unsubstantiated and/or false
reports, especially when the individual
wishing to interview them has made
unsubstantiated and/or false reports about
them personally and with full knowledge that
the reports are untrue.
For these
two reasons they will not agree to an
interview with you.
They do
not know why you would ask a second time
when this is the same answer given you
before. No means no.
God Bless,
John
Baskette, AIA Webmaster.
